Dr. Yamada has provided excellent care to our 7 year old Australian Cattle Dog over the last few years. When Hank was 4 years old he started having seizures and over time they progressively became worse even with 3 prescribed medicines. Dr. Yamada started holistic treatments for Hank several years ago and he has made progress in cutting down the amount of seizures that he is having. She did a lot of research, consulted with specialists and mentors to find a pathway to holistically help Hank in conjunction to his prescribed medicines. She has gone above and beyond to help Hank (and us!) with her acupuncture treatments and a mixture of herbs and CBD so Hank can have a quality of life. He is an active dog that walks daily, goes on hikes, and helps his Mom at the ranch. I have no doubt that Dr. Yamada has added years to Hank’s life. Her knowledge and perseverance has gotten Hank to age 7!​​​​​​​

Scooby is our beloved rescue dog we adopted in November 2020, He was a happy and loving dog from the first time we saw him. Unfortunately, we immediately realized he had severe digestive issues that caused him to be very sick and in the Veterinary emergency room multiple times that first year. Finally. we met Dr. Yamada at a follow-up visit, after yet another tiK visit, and she was so helpful. She took the time to listen to the full story of Scooby’s digestive journey. Over the next year, she had Tam on herbal supplements, was doing acupuncture regularly with him, and helped us find a diet for him that allowed him to get off the Flagyl he was for a year. Dr. Yamada has been continually caring for him over this past year with periodic acupuncture and regular visits now he is a happy, healthy dog. We are so grateful for her knowledge and genuine care and concern to see Scooby get healthy. Scooby loves his visits with Dr. Yamada!​​​​​​​

When I met Dr. Yamada, Keiko was 10 years old and had a TPLO on one knee, torn the cruciate on the other, and suffered from horrible allergies manifesting in many skin issues. She was on 4 different medications for all of her issues. After implementing the food and supplements that Dr Yamada recommended, and adding regular acupuncture sessions, Keiko is a happy 11yr old Akita taking no meds and skin has cleared up! When I met Dr. Shuko Yamada our precious Schnorkie, Max, was dealing with health issues including occasional pancreatitis and had been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease. My first impression of her was the way she sat on the floor at his level and let him become comfortable with her before proceeding. She was gentle and a wonderful listener as I shared my concerns. He loved seeing her and she helped me so much with support for his diet and prescribed herbs that were “game changers”! She also did acupuncture. We know that he lived out his 15 years in the best health possible because of her care. She is a treasure to us all and her healing gifts gave us more time with our precious companion.​​​​​​​
